This is the same range of cymbals as the brand's popular 900 series but with a different-coloured coating on top. This red 16-inch medium ride is made of B8-bronze alloy and then hammered and aligned by hand. This process results in a clear sound with warm undertones that works well with any musical genre!

The coloured coating used in Paiste's Color Sound 900 series is applied in such a thin layer, you can still see the hammer marks and grooves clearly. The effect on the tone is minimal, but you can expect a slightly drier sound and a shorter sustain than Paiste's non-coated cymbals, but you'll get a little more attack in return.
